Delicious Palak Paneer Recipe
A traditional cottage cheese curry in a thick, vibrant green spinach puree, seasoned with garlic and ginger.
Ingredients Required
- 250g Paneer cubes
- 1 bunch Fresh Spinach
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 2 Tomatoes (pureed)
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 2 tbsp Behtreen Mustard Oil
- Salt, Garam Masala & Cream
Preparation Method
- Blanch spinach leaves in hot water for 2 minutes, then transfer to ice water and puree.
- Heat Behtreen Mustard Oil in a pan and temper cumin seeds.
- SautΓ© onions and ginger-garlic paste until brown, then add tomato puree and spices.
- Pour in the spinach puree and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add paneer cubes, cook for 2 more minutes, garnish with cream and serve.
